Our 5th content update since early access opened up the first part of the Gray Labyrinth.
These are the two entry ways to it, Lava Depths from Ember Valley and Waterworks from Starlight Strand.
I was Art Lead for this update, and with the help of our Art Director Jenna Kemker and the team we ideated on the visual language for these areas. It was our first time doing architecture and interiors for the game. It was a really fun challenge to make these spaces feel like underground backroom-like facilities for this massive ancient structure.
I set up the ambience for these zones, as well as set dressing and lighting for some spaces. Mostly kitbashing from assets made by the env team.
