A piece I made for the gallery Nucleus Art of Slime Rancher show. Sculpted in 3D, cast in hydrostone and hand painted.
A reimagining of the Aztec Calendar, but Slimes! A reflection of my fascination and connection to my Mexican heritage, blending ancestral designs with the stylized aesthetic of Slime Rancher 2 that I've been a part of for 6+ years now.
Really fun to make, something I had been thinking about for ages. Minus the 10000 hrs of sanding and priming, that was bunk.
